So I have a small form factor PC with a custom PSU, which for the recommended GPU specs, is under powered and I was thinking of upgrading into the very near future.
I was thinking I could get a normal PSU, find a small case or some form of housing for it and then get an adapter (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/24-to-10-Pin-ATX-Lenovo-PSU-Power-Supply-Motherboard-Adapter-Cable-/122365860453?hash=item1c7d92da65:g:1jsAAOSwawpXs0IS) but I'm worried the higher Wattage will not work with the 10 pin connection.
Do you reckon the adapter will work? Or is it generally impossible?
