What do i need to upgrade

So lately I've wanting to get into higher pc gaming so i bought myself a gtx 1050 graphics card . After installing there was almost no change to any games i play which is strange since before this i just had an apu . so now I just want to know what else i should upgrade. My goal is to just make overwatch playable at medium to high setting without spending that much. Here are my specs :

Processor: Amd A6-6400k

Motherboard: Asus K30bf_M23bf

Ram: 4gb ddr3 1600Mhz single

Gpu: Gigabyte Geoforce gtx 1050

Change cpu to a athlon 860 and get 8gb ram. Would be a big improvement but still slightly more than a turd in high end gaming. Should be okayish for overwatch. You really need to rebuild completely if you want to do anything demanding.

I assume you did plug your monitor into your 1050? Just adding the Memory back from on board should have helped some
