I'm about to buy an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 and I need to know if it is compatible with the motherboard I do have.

I looked at the pages and saw that the motherboard says it takes "AM3+". I'm hoping that means it takes 3, 4, and so on, but I have no way of being sure. Please help!
