Hey guys,

I originally bought this customized gaming pc back in '09 from cyberpower. A few years ago, I made some upgrades. Now, as I get back into gaming, I want to make sure I'm up to speed.

Current specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5 3450 @ 3.10GHz
Ram: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 686MHz
Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. P8Z77-V LX (LGA1155)
Graphics: 1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series (Gigabyte)
Storage: 465GB Western Digital WDC WD5003AZEX-00K1GA0 (SATA)
Power Supply: 680w. I don't know name but it's from 2009.
Cooling: side and rear fans. Using speccy, it says I'm idling around 49c
Windows 10

If you need anything else, please let me know.

I'm looking for specifics on what I should upgrade. The issues I'm running into is when I play games like Battlefield 1, the performance is a little subpar on low settings. For Crowfall (beta), it's not smooth at all.

Any help on what I should upgrade (and to what) would be GREATLY appreciated. While I'm not looking to break the bank, I don't mind investing in parts that will extend the life of this pc (and running high graphics) for a few more years.

Please advise on the parts to replace or if I need to start completely over.

Thank you,
Anthony

I agree, the graphics card is underpowered, but everything else seems reasonably capable of running modern games. Something in that performance range, like a GTX 1060 or RX 580 would allow most games to run at 1080p at high settings and good frame rates.
