Hi so I am building my first computer, I have an x99 Taichi and I want to get storage. Money isn't an issue here really, and I wanted to get something that'll last. I chose a 256gb SSD for my favorite games and OS/Browsers and stuff like that. I also then have a YouTube channel and I like to make big animations and have lots of game AND do video editing so I chose a 6tb Hdd.
Will these both fit in my motherboard, and can I even pair an SDD and a HDD?

SDD; Plextor M8Pe 256GB HHHL PCIe NVMe Internal Solid State Drive with Heatsink (PX-256M8PeY) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JCXXSAY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_ky6lzbKQ1S28F

HDD; WD Blue 6TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 5400 RPM SATA 6 Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD60EZRZ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013HNYVCE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Ny6lzb4BW3KFW

Motherboard; ASRock LGA2011-v3/ Intel X99/ DDR4/SATA3&USB3.1/ Wi-Fi/ATX Motherboard (X99 TAICHI) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ITOLDQI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_lz6lzbKS8M8PK

Thanks!

Solution
on the hard drive replace it with a 7200 rpm drive it a little faster then the older 5400 drives. you have to read up on your mb bios to see if it boot from one of those newer nvme drives. if it does also check to see if any of the sata ports will be turned off. some of the newer 1151 mb and m2 and mvme drives do to lack of pci lines will turn off sata ports.

you can have both drives in your pc. start with the ssd connected and install windows on it. when windows is updated power down and plug in the hard drive. it should be seen and given a new drive letter if not you have to use windows disk mANAGER TO set the drive up.
