Hello good day

So like the Tittle say i just fried my second Graphics card the problem is i dont know why this keeps on happening.

so last 6 months ago, i bought a MSI GTX 750 ti 2gig DDR5 2 months in use i noticed when i booted up my windows there were Screen glitches all over when it loaded up to the desktop, restarted my pc. problem is still there. now boot up just freeze after bios. done some diagnosing for my pc. removed my graphics card. used a vga chord since i used my amd APU built in on board card. works perfectly. returned my card to the shop were i bought it. since it was under warranty the tech guy told me that my card was fried.

So the replaced it with another card a Zotac GTX 750 to 2gig ddr5. i also bought a new mobo a new rated 650w PSu to be sure it wont happen again,

but now after 6 months im having the exact problem again only with a different 6 months used card.
im afraid to buy a new one im scared to fry it again until such time i figure out how this keeps happening. i dont overclock minimal gaming more on graphics work.

oh im using a 32 inch tv as a monitor for graphics work. is it bad for the graphics card?

my specs
650w Thermaltake psu < new
Amd A8 5600k fm2+
gigabyte MOBO < new
8 gig fury x 1500 mhz
zotac GTX 750 ti 2 gig ddr5 < fried
500 gig HDD
250 gig SSD

i really need help on this. =( i dont have that much money to keep on buying new hardware. Thank you

Do you plug your computer directly into the AC outlet, or do you use a surge protector? I'd suspect the AC outlet if you've replaced the motherboard and power supply and it still happens. The only other common element is the fact both videocards came from the same shop. Do you think it's possible they sell questionable cards? Maybe they sold you a bad one and replaced it with another bad one.

thank you for replying, no i haven't done any overclock and i only use the drivers and software that comes with the box.

Ok, all I can say then is, you've had some bad luck. You changed the only two items in your computer that could potential cause damage to the graphics card. As for a TV as a monitor, many people do that and they don't damage their cards, it's highly unlikely it's causing the problem.

Thank you for the reply

Now that you mention it, i use a Auto voltage regulator (AVR) for my system unit, also plugged in the avr is my Modem, wifi router, 32 inch Tv i use for my monitor and my speakers. Could it be possible that i overloaded my circuits which fried my card.

I also hear sometimes my avr make a clicking sound from time to time.
additional info is that i use a old casing for my pc is it possible that it grounded?
