hey pc experts,
i have a monitor asus vg248qe 144hz 1ms 1080p monitor..i am planning to build a pc with i7 77700k and gtx 1080ti..but i found out 1080p resolution will bottleneck gtx 1080ti..as it can not reach its potential..but benchmark shows that 1080ti hardly reach 144+ fps in most games at ultra settings..i want more and more fps as i plat first person shooter games like csgo, overwatch , BF1 etc games most..if i play at 2k or 4k by using nvidia's DSR 4k technology from nvidia in my 1080p monitor is it going to be alright? can i play 4k games by the full power of gtx 1080ti with having constant good frame rates?? if i play in 1080p resolution..is it going to be a problem?
