GT 1030 with i7 870?

Hello,
My brother have an older pc (vostro 430 minitower) details below:

mobo: Micro-Star MS-7466
cpu: i7 870
psu: bestec 350w (ATX350P5WC)
ram: kingmax 2x2gb 1333mhz ddr3
vga: asus HD5450 2gb

I want to upgrade that HD5450 to an MSI GT 1030 aero 2gb
but i'm not sure if this config can handle that. What do you think? Is it a good choise?
(He usually plays with csgo, paladins and rocket league but they are a bit laggy on low graphs..
he wants to play with last man standing but it couldn't run)
Maybe i will buy another 2x2gb ram.

Well yes that will work just fine, Personally I would get a bit better gpu, maybe a gtx 1050? or even an used gtx 750ti. Which wont cost much more or perhaps even less.

But the gt 1030 will still do the job fine. I would also try to get 8gb ram instead of the 4gb you have now.

Thank you! I think i will get a used 750ti instead of a new 1030 then.

Yes, the gtx 750ti will give more performance for probably the same price, just try to find one that looks like its been taken good care of.

Just check youtube gt 1030 vs gtx 750ti for the difference between the two.
