Hello Everyone, about a 2 months ago I downloaded a driver update for my GTX 560. After the update finished I attempted to load up Gta V (that used to run at a very reasonable frame rate on medium) and found I was suddenly getting horrible frame lag. I figured the driver might be busted so I rolled back my drivers and sure enough the game was back to its normal frame rate. Shortly after that I found that my computer was black screening after the windows startup screen, sound was working fine and as I could hear the jingle that plays every time it successfully loads the desktop. I eventually went into safe mode and updated the drivers from the Device Manager and rebooted my system, I could see my desktop again but all my games ran horribly, I'm talking 15-20 fps on Forts, 10-15 on Deadcells and 2-3 fps on GTA V with all my default settings down to the lowest possible options. I've been reading various forum posts, downloaded programs that totally clean out all driver files, formatting my computer multiple times and even downloaded drivers from as far back as August of 2016 but I get the same results every time. I'm just wondering if anyone might know whats going on. Is it my gpu, motherboard, cpu?
