i have my asus turbo 1060 as my output and i can use it as my monitor. however when i go to device manager i cannot see it under display adaptors.

under other devices i see video controller and when i try to update that it comes up with the correct driver but has an error when trying to install them.

i have tried clearing all nvidia drivers (using ddu (display device uninstaller)) and running the installer from nvidia's website. however, when it runs the process it doesn't give my the option of choosing my install or accepting the license agreement and throws an error

i have also tried removing and reinstalling the graphics card. i have also tried running on Intel graphics without the graphics card installed, installed the card, scanned for hardware changes and updated it in device manager there, however it didn't update.

my specs are: CPU : Pentium G4560
Motherboard: Gigabyte z170xp-sli, with an updated bios to support kaby lake
RAM: Fury Hyper X 2x4gb
Graphics card: Asus turbo nvidia gtx 1060 6gb

Any help would be gladly appreciated

i have put the GPU in another computer and it uses windows drivers to work. these are called Video Controller (vga compatable), unknown device and audio device on high definition audio bus.

i think the fault is in the installer. i tried installing the drivers off the disk and it doesn't install. i then copied them to my hard drive and tried again and it didn't work. when the installer comes up it skips the legal and options. i think i need to get to the options and select a fresh install but i cant access it

What OS are you using?. If you are using windows 10, make sure you have the latest Windows 10 (version 1607) Anniversary update. It will automatically download outdated/missing drivers with it.
