I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card from a NVIDIA GeForce GTS 240 (http://imgur.com/a/oPfiI) to something with low wattage and a low profile. My PSU has a max of 305W. I've narrowed it down to two options but would like confirmation on whether or not they would work and/or fit. Other recommendations are also appreciated!

A GTX750Ti with legacy BIOS is your best bet due to no 6 pin PCIe connector on the PSU. Newer AMD cards have a BIOS compatability issue with old Dells, but rebadged 7xxx cards work.
Best CPUs are QX6800 2.93GHz, or Q6700 2.66GHz.
8GB DDR2-800 low density RAM.
This is similar to the E520 in my sig. but with a weaker Voltage section on the MB. I've clocked one to 3.45Ghz. See "Overclocking Dell BTX Computers" if that intersts you.

I would recommend you to buy a Sapphire R7 250 GDDR5 2GB 128bit, got one for just 40$ used, but u can find also new ones for a good price. Have an old Optiplex 780 with a Q8400, also 305PSU and runs flawlessly even the latest games like Doom, RE7, GTA5, Middle Earth and Tomb Raider on mid to high settings.

also I would suggest to search on youtube "linus r7 240 review", before you waste your money on junk low end graphics cards.
