C + + Visual Studio 2015 not installing..

I've fully updated my computer, restarted, uninstalled the program, and tried to reinstall, and it is STILL saying that I cannot install C + + Visual Studio 2015. I'm on windows 8.1. A lot of videos are saying that I have to install an update for windows but that update is only for windows 7 and it isn't viable on my 8.1. Please can anyone help me

Hi,

If you try the basic fix, uninstall / reinstall all of the c++ (2012-2014....) and you still have problems it means windows has important files that are corrupted and the best thing to do is reinstall windows.
