I have looked at several threads here none of them have fixed my pc. I just got done installing new thermal paste for my computer and I put everything back exactly how it was. I boot it up and nothing shows on my screen and it rapidly beeps maybe 25 times then shuts down and repeat. I have tried redoing the paste I've tried taking it apart and making sure everything is where it should be, heck I've even tried using other parts. Then I figured the issue. I used one ram stick and it boots just fine. But with 4gbs only. If I put my other stick in (in any channel doesnt matter) it wont boot and just beeps. I've tried so many things no solution and it's not the sticks or the motherboard as I've switched them and tried to boot in every slot. if anyone has any idea on how to fix this I'd be so grateful to go back to my casual gaming.

If you are running a 64 bit OS, download Memtest64 and put it on a cd or usb flash drive and boot from there. Run the test on 1 stick of RAM at a time until it completes a couple of passes (could take several hours).

If you have a 32 bit system, run Memtest86+, which is the older version.
