So, I am building a budget gaming PC for a family member, and I want ti to run games at 60 FPS at medium to high settings. I already have a couple of parts for the entire build; the PSU and the GPU... However, the GPU is my previous workhorse which I recently swapped out for a GTX 1060. Although it will cost me an extra 140$, is it worth it to buy a GTX 1050ti instead?
Specs:
Mobo: ASUS M5A78L-M Plus/USB3 AM3+ mATX AMD Motherboard**
CPU: AMD FX 8320E 3.2ghz**
(**Both bundled for $99!!)
EVGA 8gb DDR3 1866 ($49.99)
Cooler Master K280 ($36.99)
Cooler Master Heatsink ($19.99)
Toshiba P300 1TB ($39.99)
EVGA 500B PSU (Already owned)
EVGA GTX 660 SC (Already owned)
Total: 273$ (with tax)
The 1050ti would throw me over 400$, where I am try to keep the price as low as possible. I can sell the 660, but where would be a good place to sell it? If not the 1050ti, any other recommendations?
