Here's my build. http://i.imgur.com/0u8Ej6g.png
So, I currently run a MSI 970 and it works great but I've been wanting to upgrade to a MSI 1070 for a bit, So I finally purchased one off Amazon and It arrived today.
I proceeded to install the 1070 and everything was fine until I would try to boot it and it instantly turns off. When i hit my power button everything seems to turn on for a millisecond even the fans and LED's before powering off and after that I can't even try to reboot it.
My 970 still works fine and everything works, I've tried all the slots but same problem, I've also tried it in an older PC and the same thing happens, I'm not sure If it's defective or an easy fix.
I'm also using my PSU's 6+2 since I don't have any 8's but I don't think that's the problem.

install your old card and use ddu to unistall the drivers and shut down the pc. then unistall the 970 and out in the 1070 and try again. i know they are both nvidia cards but its worth a shot.
