My new graphics card (GeForce 1030 2gb low profile) won't work on my PC.

Everything is plugged in correctly, the PC starts, and freezes in the BIOS screen... The MB starts to beep, 1 short beep 30 in 30 seconds...

These are my specs:

Intel i3 2020
2x 4GB RAM
MB Aspire x1935 / dib75l-lena
600W power supply

I tried the 1030 in another motherboard and it worked....
What could it be?
Please help.

Thanks

BIOS update is your only chance to get it started with a newer graphics card, because of UEFI and GOP driver for the BIOS to recognize newer generations of GPUs.
Remove the graphics card and use the motherboard´s onboard graphics connector.

Because sometimes this can lead to more problems, please backup your personal data and continue to update the BIOS afterwards.

Here you can find an updated BIOS (download the version P11.A3 without "L") for your machine:
https://www.acer.com/ac/en/AE/content/support-product/4081?b=1

I don´t like Windows flashing, but it´s on you, if you wanna just double click something. It can work without problems, but if windows restarts while flashing or has a problem while updating, most likely your PC won´t boot after that, and you would have to get an already flashed BIOS chip to get your machine starting again.

use rufus to set a bootable usb flash drive:
https://www.howtogeek.com/136987/how-to-create-a-bootable-dos-usb-drive/

download the BIOS, extract just the folders DOS and ROM to the USB thumb drive. Follow the DOS readme (print it or copy it to your smartphone)

in the readme the point "14" is a bit different then, use the command
"cd dos" to enter the dos folder and go on with the readme
enter "BIOS_DOS.bat" (always without the "")
