OK, so i bought the RK PRO104 mechanical keyboard a couple of months ago and i love it! however, i recently wanted to change my keyboard to the color orange but that isnt one of the presets. its an RGB keyboard with individually programmable keys. it just so happens orange isnt one of the colors you can change to. however there isnt any software for it, its all done through the FN key.

i was wondering if there was anyway to use software to change the RGB's to the color i want. i know i cant use corsair or logitech software becasue thats specific to those keyboards. but is there some sort of free software out there that is capable of controlling the lighting effects of any RGB keyboard?

or would it not work since they keyboard wasnt made to be used with software?

heres a link to the keyboard

ive heard that there are other keyboards that look just like this one but are from different manufacturers and that some of them do have software. the thing is i dont know what those other keyboards are called or if their software would work for my keyboard.

I am going to crawl out on the proverbial limb and say no.

Why?

If the keyboard was capable of "orange" there is little doubt in my mind that that would have been included as a marketing "feature/function".

Now if some other manufacturer happend to use the exactly the same physical design and provided software to create "orange" via the firmware or drivers then you may be in luck.

You may or may not be able to load, install, and configure the drivers for that product and have them actually work for your keyboard.

Start by contacting the keyboard manufacturer. Check their website, FAQs, and forums.

Maybe someone else has discovered a way to get "orange". By intent or by accident.
