Would you recommend any other laptops that are cheaper than this? or is this worth the price. Australian Dollars just so you know.

I personally couldn't recommend any better laptops for that price range. As I live in the United States I'm unaware of how much computers and hardware cost in Australia so I couldn't give a confident recommendation. The specs themselves look pretty good for the price however if I'm going off of US pricing.

Edit: I've done a bit of research and it looks like you're getting a pretty good deal for that laptop in Australia. At least on Acer's own website its $1099 and I don't know any reputable companies in Australia but at least in the US manufacturer websites are usually equally priced with stores.

I've looked at Australian stores and most gaming laptops exceed the price of this one by at least $200 AUD for the cheapest one. Ones with half-decent specs are at least $1000 AUD. That of course doesn't mean that more research couldn't hurt, but we must keep in mind everything in Australia is crazy expensive.

Sorry to bother you again but I just found this one for around the same price I was wondering if it's a better choice this computer has been marked down from $899 https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/hp-156-inches-15-ay185tx-intel-core-i5processor-8gb-1tb-notebook--1hp03pa

I can't find any reliable information on that laptop. Every page I've visited either has extremely vague information that's of no help or no information at all.
