USB ports don't work

This is a 5 year old ASUS MB and the 3.0 USB ports have never worked. I didn't care until now. I've tried re-installing the drivers from the disk but no joy. Running W7 x64. Any ideas? MB P8Z77-V LK

Dont use disk. Check what kind of USB3 controller microchip do you have (must be ASM1042) and use driver for that microchip.
