Hi :)

So, soon i will be moving my rig from one case to another, aswell as swapping out my PSU and GPU - My question is; is it as simple as; uninstalling my current GPU drivers, powering off, unplugging the whole thing, moving it to the new case with the new PSU and GPU and finally powering on and installing new drivers? or are there any additional steps i should be taking? am i better off installing the old GPU first just to test or just wack the new one in while im "under the hood"?

Thanks for reading! any advice is much appreciated :)

Solution
better uninstall it first, then after putting the new GPU in the new case, u can use the intergrated graphic card to turn on your PC and install the required driver for your new GPU

Thanks didn't think of that! would make it easier...so just to confirm, it is as simple as unplugging everything and plugging it in in the new case with the new components? or is there anything else i need to do? I take it is that simple just to be sure - dont wanna damage my PC in anyway.

cheers :)

well if you're sure you won't be confused when putting plugging the cables for the PSU, u can try to put it on by yourself, plugging a GPU and RAM is easy enough for a user to do, but PSU cables, u need to study a little, as well as screwing the whole thing.

my suggestion is you call your friend who's an expert or go to a computer shop instead.
