What GPU do you have? In Nvidia GPUs you have to manually set games to run at 144hz, also your games must run at 60+ fps to actually see the difference. 144hz is definitely super smooth, but unless your games run at atleast 100fps, you won't see any difference.

It's completely possible you won't be able to tell any difference at all. Many people simply cannot percieve any difference, including myself. The breaking line is slightly different for everyone and also shifts due to age and health conditions. That's why I always write around here to try before you buy it.

As it's been said many many times before the human eye can't distinguish anywhere near that speed. With a 144 hz screen and a monster Computer pushing it I honestly think I can see a difference between 60 hz and 75 Hz (manually capping frames) from 75-100 hz I think maybe I can tell the slightest difference, but I honestly think the fact all 144hz monitors are very good quality has more to do with it than the actual hz. Anywhere from 90+ is all exactly the same. I know people swear up and down it's soooomuch better. Perhaps, but I think it's more likely the quality of the monitor, or a placebo effect.

I suspect very low input/processing lag has much more to do about that than actual framerate.

Ok I think I got the solution. You have to run CS GO in 144hz. First make sure your monitor is running at 144hz. Then open steam and right click on CS GO, then click properties.

Now click on "Set Launch Options". Now type or copy paste the below line
-refresh 144

Let me know whether it works or not.
