what if i install my OS in an SSD... does it mean that applications can only run at SSD SPEED when it is installed in an SSD????

can i run apps thats installed on a backup HDD at SSD SPEED??? sorry :D

thanks!! what if i have to move an application from an HDD into an SSD without rebooting the system? does that specific application can now run instantly at SSD SPEED?

Firstly, you can just 'move' an application like that.
Except for Steam games and some small single file applications, they need to be actually uninstalled and then reinstalled on the SSD.

Copy/paste does not work.

Take the word 'optane' out of your vocabulary.
It is simply another level of cache for an HDD.
A traditional SSD is miles better.
