I am helping a friend build a gaming pc. He already has an i5 4460 and msi GTX 970.

He wants to order these now.

He also needs a cheap motherboard that will support everything and have no space issues. He will only be using the stock intel cooler and we don't know about ram yet, but it will be low profile. We came across this one and I noticed it only had a 4 pin CPU connector, is this ok, and does the psu support it? I am worried that the gpu will get in the way of other components as well.

Solution
Case : Its you / his choice.

About the PSU: It mainly depends which GPU is going to pick and which PCi-e conectors it needs but for now, try to aim to the CX550M, is a refresh of the CM line from Corsair.
