My old PC had a problem in which games would crash all the time around 15-20 minutes in. I thought it was most likely an issue with the GPU, and I was going to buy a new PC at some point either way, so I did. I replaced every component in my tower apart from my HDD. When I started playing games on my new PC the issue STILL happens, just not as often.

What's even more weird is that certain games might not crash, for example 'Overwatch' doesn't crash at all, yet 'League of Legends' crashes quite a lot (around 15-20 minutes into the game). Could this be an issue with my HDD which I didn't replace? Honestly don't want to spend much more money on this.

From what I can tell the computer doesn't overheat, so I doubt it's an issue with the fans.

PC Specs: Nvidia GTX 750ti, i5-4460, 3.20 GHz, 16gb ram.

Edit: I have reset my PC as well, error still happens.

Yes, I changed everything. I don't think I'm getting a 'crash code', though I'm not sure. The same problem was happening on my old pc, so I doubt it's anything to do with the components not working together.

Then you should describe what you mean by the post title. If it doesn't crash, then what happens? It hangs with the disk activity light very busy?

I have a HDD, though if there are different types of HDD's then I don't know which mine is, I'm not all too knowledgeable in pc components, sorry.

All I know is that it crashes and windows stops responding. I can then reload the game and it (usually) wont crash again during that game.

You can reproduce the issue if you power up the PC and game for 15-20 minutes, but after it stops working (anything in the Event Viewer?) you can reboot the system and then it runs for as long as you game. Is this correct? If so, it honestly doesn't make much sense. Does it happen if the PC is left on for hours and you start gaming again?

I have windows 10, though there is a 'activate windows' watermark bottom right, even though it's not a cracked version of windows. I can check tomorrow if I am definitely using a HDD or SDD, though I'm fairly certain it's a HDD.

Crashes do happen more often if the PC has been on for a while, and rebooting the PC does sometimes help,

With SSD's if the Drivers are not installed this can cause crashes. This problem is worst on Windows 7 than 10.

Are all of these games that crash Steam Games? If so try the repair option I have had great luck with that in the past.

No, league of legends also crashes a lot, which is not a steam game.

Not to sure what motherboard I have, sorry. But I know it's different from my old one, and that one had the same problem, so I doubt it's anything to do with a motherboard.

Maybe, you have a chipset IE z87... I would install your chipset drivers.
1.) Goto the MOBO website
2.) look for Drivers and Downloads
3.) Check for Bios updates and Chipset drivers download them
4.) Install the Chipset 1st if that works then Win! If not look at flashing Bios to the newest.
