I disagree. According to the benchmarks from the RX 570 review, the RX 470 pretty consistently beats the 1050ti. They ARE close, but not equal by any means.
From what I've read the 1050ti can be overclocked to about 1.9 ghz. If I were to overclock it, would it be able to get around the performance of my 470?
Na you should get the 1060 3GB. The 1050ti may add 5~10% max but the 470 stock is 50% ahead. The 1060 3GB is about 10% faster than the 470 or about an equal to the 470 OC.
The 470/570 falls in between a 1050ti and a 1060 so it is hard to give it an exact equivalent (hence the many different answers).
I would estimate the 470 sits closer to the 1050ti vs the 1060 assuming stock clock and 4gb VRAM.
