So I have a Radeon HD 7700 and starting today when I try to turn on my PC with the GPU connected through its DVI, the monitor shuts down and the keyboard/mouse become unresponsive. However, when I instead boot up the PC with my motherboards HDMI it turns on correctly. I think it's the GPU thats causing the issue but when I reconnect the DVI after starting up, nothings wrong and everything works fine. Anyone know what could be causing the issue?

How is it that you're connecting the same monitor with DVI when using the card, but HDMI when using integrated graphics? In terms of troubleshooting, it's not helpful to use two completely different outputs to the monitor. How about using HDMI output from the videocard?
