pc4-27200 4000mhz or pc4-28800 3600mhz

I'm building ryzen 1700x pc. I'm choosing between these memory sets:

Why is the faster one cheaper and do they have compatible overclocking values and compatibility with ryzen?

Looks like the faster sales better could be the reason for the lower price. None of that matters as neither will work at those speeds on Ryzen. You should check the motherboards QVL on memory.

Nothing I have read so far about Ryzen says you will get above 3200. Most of the time you will not even get that. Your best bet is to choose from the qualified memory that the motherboard manufacturer has tested.

I was initially going to buy the 3600mhz but I noticed 4000mhz is cheaper. I know I might get only 2933mhz or whatever due to mobo's limitations. I suppose my question should be: are these memories both Samsung b-dice?

If you take a good look at the 4000 its not 4000 but speed(Velocidad) 3400. Also it has high latency CL19 so dodge that RAM. The 3600 does have the correct specs.
