I recently got the Corsair H100i V2 Water Cooling system and I want to overclock my i5 4690k processor. According to CPUID, it currently has a voltage of 1.168V and task manager says its 3.85ghz.
My temps that register (while idle and in bios) are approximately 35C. When I stress tested it I got temps up to an even 70C. The temps seem a little high for water cooling to me.
So, I have 2 questions. First, are these temps a little high for water cooling? Second, what could I clock the processor to? Would making it go to 4.3ghz be alright?
Thank you!
