Greetings,

Recently I installed a new motherboard (ASrock Z270 extreme4) a new CPU (Intel i7-7700K, 4.2GHz, 8MB Cache, LGA1151) and a new RAM stick (HyperX Savage DDR4 2666MHz, DIMM, CL13). The problem I'm having is that none of my PC ports are working: none of the motherboard ports on the back, the GPU ports (I have a GTX 650 Ti 4GB) and none of the ports at the front. It was my first time installing a motherboard, so maybe I didn't connect something correctly? The only thing that works is my DVD drive, tried inserting the CD I got with the motherboard but to no avail.

Thank you for your help,

Everything looks good from here.
is the system beeping at all? did you connect a speaker to the motherboards front panel speaker header (in the same block as the power switch and reset switch) the speaker is the motherboards main diagnosis output. there should be a speaker in the case (red and black wire, 4 pins wires are the outer pins no wires in the middle)
any speaker will do I have used a bookshelf speaker and bits of wire

this guide has been particularly helpful in getting peoples systems running.
it will cover some of the basics we have and a lot more.
if you have any questions I'll be...

the GPU needs the power cord or it will not power on, the GPU not the PC. plug in the black and yellow cable next to the GPU.
the Blue 20 pin usb 3.0 connector should be plugged into the motherboard
the RAM should probably be in the slot closest to the CPU

I did as you say, however the problem still seems to persist.

Here's how it looks now: http://imgur.com/a/IJ8Jn

Any thoughts?

in the third picture, behind the heatsink on the upper-left there is a 4 prong plug (maybe more but 4 prongs are visible, dim but visible) that is the AUX power cable for the CPU. that needs to be connected to the PSU or the CPU will not power on. getting there. a few more pictures of the entire motherboard will help me spot other issues if the AUX does not get you running

ASROCK Z270 Extreme 4 I found the manual. the AUX cable for the CPU is a 8 pin plug.
the Blue USB cable is connected to USB 2.0 not 3.0 so anything on the front panel will be USB 2.0.
there are 2 black boxes to the right of the RAM slots, each of those are USB 3.0 headers, the large blue cable will plug in to one of those. usb 2.0 will have 9 pins while the USB 3.0 will use the 20 pin blue block. this will not prevent the system from booting just something I noticed too.

I think I did everything you told me too, but it didn't fix the problem. Maybe I didn't follow your instructions correctly?

Anyways, here are some more pictures of the motherboard, hopefully these are clearier:
