How can I do a BIOS update on my motherboard if I only have the one processor?

I just finished saving for and building my PC, and when I went to turn it on, it would not turn on. I called MSI support (MSI Z270 TOMAHAWK ARCTIC) to find out if the problem could be coming from the motherboard or anything connected to it. The person on the other side told me that my RAM was incompatible (Corsair Vengence LPX (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15W)), but when I called back a few minutes later trying to find out more, the person said to look at the chart, and the RAM IS compatible. He them told me that the second source of my problems could be coming from needing a BIOS update on my board. How can I do this if I only have the one processor (Intel i5 6600K), and the computer won't even turn on?! Also, can you guys think of any other reasons why it wouldn't be turning on? I went through all of the connections, and they are in the right places and are tight. If it helps, my PSU is NZXT HALE 82 V2 750w.
Thanks so much!
