Hello,

According to my BIOS the G.SKILL Ripjaws V I purchased which is DDR4 3200, is actually running at 2133. I purchased the faster memory because I heard it benefits Ryzen quite a bit.

I have tried increasing this spead manually in the BIOS but this causes the PC to not even boot, so I had to pull out the battery to reset.

Is there any way I can get this memory to run at 3200? I am still able to return this and get something that is known to work with Ryzen 7.

EDIT: I should add that I have updated my BIOS to the latest version, as well as all of my drivers. Some of the reviews on this memory had said it would work.

Actually I am still a bit confused. I tried taking out 2 of the slots and then changing the "Load XMP Setting" from Auto to on, which then changed the DRAM frequency to 3200 (right now both are Auto), with this change the computer does not boot. However, I can see that above that it says that maybe the DRAM timing config is indeed 3200?

Here is what CPUZ shows: http://i.imgur.com/7uTwXAW.png
And the BIOS is still displaying 2133 on the main page: http://i.imgur.com/VskBjZz.jpg

EDIT: It appears to be a current issue with my motherboard. Thats frustrating: http://www.overclock.net/t/1625138/asrock-killer-sli-ac-x370-cannot-get-higher-than-2133/170

Try running them at 2933mhz, very few boards will do 3200mhz at the moment, leave the voltage and timings at auto, but change the CPU SoC (maybe labelled as CPU NB voltage) to 1.100v, this helps a lot with ram overclocking.
