Today I upgraded my cpu but was surprised to find that after changing cpu's when I booted my pc all it did was give me a blackscreen. I tried downloading the latest mobo bios update to my usb and putting it in my pc but it would do anything. I think I may have to put my g4400 back in to download the update...
Full specs:
H110mk mobo
i5-7600k
gigabyte 750ti
550w psu
samsung 250gb ssd + WD blue 1tb hdd

Any help is appreciated!

It's the coin cell battery that all PC motherboards have on them. It's what retains the BIOS/UEFI setting information as well as the date & time. Sometimes, simply removing it for a few minutes and reinstalling can correct boot issues if a setting gets "stuck". With PC powered off and unplugged, you would pop it out for a few minutes. Just google a picture of a CR2032, and you'll know what to look for :)

I only found out that I needed to update the bios after installing the i5, which is why I attempted to try starting the computer with the g4400 again.
