Basiacaly i have hp omen 870-003na

With I56600k
Motherboard is z170 Thimphu by hp
16gb ddr4 2133
Gpu amd radeon r9 390x 8gb
120gb ssd and 2tb hdd

So I am curious if i can overclock this system , and if i can what is safe values for it? I have overclocked a few system's in past but nothing from this gen. Thanks in advance

In theory you can oc with the Z170 MB, but who knows about that HP eom PC. Since you had that PC, just boot into the BIOS to see you can oc or not, because OEM like HP, or dell they will usually block the oc function in the BIOS.

If you can, then try to read some of the ocing guides, and try it out, because nobody will know until you try it out yourself.
