Too overkill psu?

So i went on cooler master's psu wattage calculator site and it said that for my rig i would need 380w. Is it too overkill to get a 550w psu? Because i have heard that if the psu is too powerful, it might not be very efficient and it also could die fast and even "take" some other components with it when doing so.

When I buy a supply I am for 60%-75% usage max so you are right in that range which is great. What will kill a supply is over taxing not under using, a low use decent quality supply will easily outlast the rest of your system.
