Hello Guys,

Today i was playing battlefield 4 and Fifa 17. But i have since yesterday a problem. When i play BF4 or Fifa 17, sometimes the game freezes (a fps drop) for 1 second en in that 1 second freeze, everytime there is coming buzzing sound out of my laptop speakers. I already updated my video card drivers. I don't know what it is. (after the little freeze, the game just going as normally at the full potential, and after maybe 30seconds to 2 minutes, the freeze comes again with the buzzing sound)

And no, my laptop is not overheating. I play every game with rivatuner statistics server. My Gpu in Fifa 17 : between 55-60 degrees celcius. And for the CPU 50-65.

For BF4: Gpu 60-65. Cpu 65-70.

Laptop specs:
Acer Predator 15
i7-6700HQ
GTX 970M
16GB DDR4

Please help someone.

Solution
Acer support in my country was closed today. So after hours of searching, i found a solution (worked for me). I full removed the network card drivers, downloaded the newest drivers from the nic card manufacturer site itself, installed and rebooted pc. Played fifa 17 for 1 hour and listened 2 songs on spotify with web browsing. Problems are gone. Very happy now :)

Sounds like either your charger or maybe the charging port on your laptop might be damaged. The buzz you hear could be from a small electrical arc giving off a momentary EM frequency that's then being picked up and played through your speakers.

How could it be a bios issue? I was since the purchase of my laptop on 1.4 bios version, never had problems till today. Just only updates my drivers when there was a new version.

Read this please.

Also that's the easier option as the other solution is your HDD is too slow so you need to put your games on the ssd drive.
Quite a lot of same systems having the freeze issue.

Dont panic. This is just info I've found that has the same symptoms as your machine ,
Might be better contacting Acer as they will know more about it.
