I recently built my own pc, I decided to go with 16gb corsair vengance lpx 3200 ram. After installing windows and all of my other drivers I deicded to check what speed my ram was running at. Turns out its running at 2000mhz instead of 3200mhz?

I've gone into my bios and changed the xmp to enabled, which then changes the ram to 3200. When I try to reboot though the boot fails and it reverts back to before I changed it?

Can anyone help?

My specs are:

Ryzen5 1600 3.2ghz
B350 PC MATE motherboard
16gb Corsair vengeance lpx 3200mhz
GTX 1070 8gb Armor
250gb samsung 850 pro ssd
1Tb WD hard drive
