Hello people, I want to get my own assembled desktop and for that I saw a few videos online and found a build, the parts used in that build are :
Case: Corsair CC-9011050-WW Carbide Series SPEC-01(mid-tower)

Motherboard: MSI H110M Pro-VH Socket LGA 1151 Motherboard (Blue)

Ram: HyperX FURY Black 8 GB 2133 MHz CL14 DIMM DDR4 Internal Memory (HX421C14FB2/8)

PROCESSOR : Intel Core i5 6500 LGA1151 Socket 3.20GHz Processor

HDD: WD Blue Desktop 1TB Internal Hard Drive (WD10EZEX)

PSU: Corsair VS Series VS450 - 450 Watt SMPS

Graphics card: Zotac GTX1060 Mini - PCI-Express Graphics Card

so.. now I have a question.. what if I want to use i5-7500 instead of i5-6500 ? Also, if there's anything which is wrong in this build, please let me know. I don't really know much about this stuff so.. that's it.

My previous build with a RX570: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/coozie7/saved/#view=QjPrHx
Feel free to swap out individual parts if those in my build are not available in your country.
I used a RX570 because in the USA at least they're no more expensive (and often cheaper) than the slightly slower RX470, things may be very different in your country.

A few points:

If you go for a RX470 or RX570 stick with the Spec 01 case or something with at least two front intake fans and one rear fan for exhaust, the FBM-01 micro case listed by Elbert just won't have enough airflow, although it would be fine with the more energy efficient GTX1060.

Elbert has paired a R5 1600 with slower DDR4 2400 RAM and used only one module, this will have a small...

As Elbert points out, the MSI 'board supports the later Kaby Lake i5 7500 but only from a certain BIOS revision, if you want to totally certain a i5 7500 will work out of the box, go for a later B250 motherboard.
And the 'VS' series power supply is, indeed not really suitable.

I've made a few slight changes to True Buies i5 build, dropping to 8Gb of RAM and swapping to a motherboard with better connectivity, giving this: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/coozie7/saved/#view=GBkMpg

Elbert has paired a R5 1600 with slower DDR4 2400 RAM and used only one module, this will have a small impact on overall performance. If you opt for his AMD based build, try to go for faster memory, DDR4 3000 would give a useful performance boost but if it means cutting back elsewhere then stick to the DDR4 2400 in his build.

Both Elbert and I listed 6Gb GTX1060 cards in our builds, if you don't plan on gaming at super high settings the 3Gb version is not only cheaper than the 6Gb card but is significantly faster than either the RX470 or RX570 and as long as you keep the AA settings low you won't have any issues with that 'mere' 3Gb of onboard memory.
