Hi,

I'm using a MacBook Pro as my 'main pc', however, it's not very suitable for gaming. As such, I would like to upgrade me current pc (intel e8400, 4gb ram, gtx560).

My cabinet is antes 900 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021
My PSU is http://www.corsair.com/en-us/tx750w

I would like to keep my cabinet and psu if possible, but I would like some new components as cheap as possible. I will almost exclusively use the pc for gaming. I'm mostly playing CS:GO and other 'e-sport' games.

As such, is anyone able to recommend the best mother-board, cpu, ram (and possible gpu) for as little money as possible? preferable around 350-400$

Best
Lars

If he was running a better GPU then yes it is significant enough for the $100.
Since the 1050 will limit OP to medium-high settings the difference is not nearly as big.

I fully agree the Ryzen is better, but if cost is primary concern then the G4560 is the better bang for buck.
This should be good if you can stretch a bit. Else replace the 1050ti with a 1050 and you should be withing $400.

For cost this will perform fairly close as the previous build. The ryzen cpu is certainly better but it wont make a very large difference when only being paired with a 1050ti.
