Using IGP (Integrated Graphics Processor) and GPU simultaneously

Hi all,

is using CPU's IGP (Integrated Graphics Processor) and discrete GPU simultaneously possible? I was thinking of using AMD rx 570/580 to run 5 (1920x1200px) displays and intel's IGP to run 3 remaining 1920x1200px displays. Is this OK stable solution for 8 monitor setup? Or should I go with 2 discrete GPUs instead (maybe something like https://www.cyberport.de/?DEEP=2E01-7FG&APID=27)?

If the latter, do you thing combining two different discrete GPU's like AMD rx 570/580 and AMD GPro 6200 in the same system would be OK (I'd like to have one GPU that is capable of occasional gaming)?

Thanks in advance for your help

It's rare for intel mobos not to have the feature but you can take a look in the manual for what options are available in bios. Watching vids that go through the bios maybe faster. You could always just buy a cheap gpu.
Usually the IGP is disabled automatically when a GPU is inserted, so it's usually not possible to use. Displayport can also daisychain or be run through a MFT hub to allow more than 1 display per displayport output. Depends on the monitor you're going to use to.

Is it not possible to enable IGP in motherboard's BIOS manually when using it with GPU? I can't use more then 5 displays on one GPU. Or am I wrong (I couldn't find "gamer card" that states you can use more then 5 displays on a single card)?

So Displays: Maximum 5 Outputs doesn't mean limitation to 5 displays per one card? http://pulse.sapphiretech.com/en/570-4.html#specifications
https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/Radeon-RX-570-GAMING-X-4G.html#hero-specification

I have 4x HP Z24i, 2x HP ZR24w, 1x HP LP 2475w, 1x DELL G2410
Is it possible to daisychain them?

I thought so... But is it possible to run 5 displays on GPU and 3 on IGP without a problem? If that's the case, my problem would be solved. If not, is it possible to run two different discrete GPU's in one desktop? Would there be any problems with two different drivers etc?

Thanks for the answer. How can I know which mobo supports it and which not? Sorry for all the questions, I just don't want to buy something that doesn't work. I had problems with multiple monitor setup in the past (a decade ago) and I don't want to make the same mistakes again :)
