Does B250M Prime K need a skylake cpu for BIOS update and if so..

Is there ANY motherboard that doesn't need SkyLake cpu for updating BIOS??

Same goes for any of them its about the chipset. The newer B250 chip set supports Skylake and Kaby lake so it will already have a BIOS that recognizes both.

The Intel 200 series chipsets were made with Kaby Lake support. The older Intel 100 series chipsets, say the B150 for example, would need a bios update with an old Skylake CPU like you mentioned before you install a Kaby Lake CPU. The question wasn't really clear at all but I think this is what you were wanting to know.

But do i need a skylake cpu for example B250M bazooka cause none of my friends have skylake and i cant really afford one and it will be hard to update bios for me
