Hey my motherboard died and im thinking what is best to do for my pc , spend 150-200$ on a new 1155 DDR3 mother board that fits my current setup or switch to 1151 ddr4 motherboard n replace my processor / ram also ?

Current setup :
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Memory 16GB 1600MHz CL10 DDR3 Kit CML16GX3M2A1600C10

CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 Tray (socket 1155)

GPU: MSI GeForce GTX970 4GB Gaming

Also if u think i should keep my setup n just get a new motherboard , id appreciate some recommendations . Thanks for ur help !

I'd say to just stick with your setup and get a new motherboard.

Here are your options. ( Please Note that you could just spend less than $100 For an okay looking motherboard if you don't care about aesthetics and you just want it to work )

If your 3770 was doing the job for you, simply buy an exact replacement if you can.
Perhaps you can find one cheaply on ebay.

Otherwise, not only are you looking at a motherboard, cpu, but ddr4 ram also.
