Dead motherboard or Cpu?

I got a stick of 8gb ram and installed it and added another 2 GB ram to get 10 on my mobo and everything worked fine but I shut it down went out and came back the PC is completely dead , I did everything I was told to do , and jumpstarted the mobo with green and black wire in PSU the fans started running but no post and yea nothing's when I try turning it on and speaker doesn't beep either so it the motherboard or Cpu??

Have you already tried to breadboard your pc? just the mobo, cpu and one stick of RAM with the mobo on top of a breadboard box like your mobo's box.

Make sure to have the speaker correctly plugged in to hear any beep code, that will tell us what's exactly going on.

More likely to be an issue with the new ram you installed.
and as RadiKaL_ said...
