Hi! I hope I'm posting this in the right area. I'm wondering how I can find a good computer repair shop that won't make things worse or scam me. I'd like to find a shop in my area where I can take my computer... I really don't want online or in-home repair. I am a computer noob who shouldn't own this type of system because I broke it and I can't fix it. My computer needs a non-noob to fix it pronto. There are tons of computer repair shops in my area, but how do I know who can fix a gaming computer and not screw it up worse? I'm in Peoria, AZ and this is my computer: ABS Destroyer ALI011 Desktop PC Intel i7-5820K (3.30 GHz) 16 GB DDR4 1 TB HDD 240 GB SSD GeForce GTX 970 SLI 4 GB Win 10 Home 64-Bit. Background info: the computer wouldn't start up and I did a clean sweep and reinstalled Windows... now it's freezing up, crashing, missing drive E, and generally very angry at me. Thank you, in advance for, any help you can send my way.

I don't know about USA but there must be a way to tell who is good I thought maybe computer clubs would have a forum where they talked about repairs, but apparently not.
Google reviews is one way as all the stores seem to be 5 star in your area. I would look at the stores and choose one where they high ranked and with a good number of reviews. UBreakifix seems to have a lot of reviews and still a good ranking.

don't put yourself down, we all started not knowing anything about computers but it sort of rubs off on you. You have to learn as you go along.
