I want to upgrade some of the parts in my PC, but I don't know what I want to upgrade to.

Specs:
CPU - AMD FX-4300 Quad-Core Processor
RAM - DDr3 Dual (2000 MHz) (8192 MB)
Graphics Card - AMD Radeon (TM) R7 360 Series (2048 MB)

I want to know what I should upgrade, I don't know what will help more. I play games on steam, I want to get higher FPS in them.

Solution
To get the most recent stuff, you'll have to pick up DDR4 RAM for both Intel & AMD chipsets.

Low budget - the Pentium G4560 is a very fast 2 core/4 thread gamer.
Medium budget - the R5 Ryzen chips are hard to beat right now.

GPU - GTX 1060 or RX 580 are excellent 1080p cards.

And because you have an older Socket AM3+, you really need a full system upgrade. If the budget is small, upgrade the GPU seeing as it will carry over. Understand however that your CPU will hold it back so you won't get the frame rates you think you should. But you really need to move to a newer system.

You would need a B250 or H270 board for *guaranteed* compatibility out of the box w/ Kaby Lake. Z170/270 boards are for processors that are unlocked (such as i5-7600k)

Decent board, but keep in mind, that form factor has very limited expandibility. 2 RAM slots, 1 M.2 slot, 1 PCIE graphics card slot. If that's ok with you (that's basically all you need in most cases), go for it. If you'd like more future expandability, go for a board larger than Micro-ATX.

Personally, that or the MSI B250M Mortar would be enough expansion slots and RAM slots (Mortar has 4) for what i'd use it for (1 GPU and a decent CPU, and a M.2 SSD). There are two additional PCI-E expansion slots for things like a Wifi card if you ever need one.

ok, would it be ok if I bought the processor and the ram and installed it to the motherboard I have now? and then once I get the money I would buy the other stuff? I have a Model: GA-78LMT-S2 motherboard in my pc right now, would it be ok if I bought the processor and ram and installed it in the motherboard that I have now or do I have to get a new motherboard before I can installed those?

It is a package deal. Your motherboard only supports AMD AM3 processors, which is such an old, slow architecture that none of which are with spending $ on currently.

Yes. You should see an improvement in gaming performance with that upgrade alone, but you'll probably still want to do the GPU later on.
