I am going to sell my current pc which is a prebuilt https://www.amazon.com/SkyTech-AMD-730-Desktop-Gaming-Computer/dp/B01LAMXYYK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1496545756&sr=8-4&keywords=gaming+pc+fx4300, but I upgraded the cpu to an Fx-6300 and got a Cryorig H7 cooler, and got a gtx 1050ti gpu. First question, should I even continue to upgrade this or should I sell it and start from scratch? If I start from scratch, I would appreciate any $500ish builds

1500X does come with the Wraith Spire cooler. It's only the 1600X and 1800X which don't include coolers.

In any case, OP did buy the H7, which could be re-used with the new rig with a new mounting kit.

@Laikmens build is much, much better.
The only thing I would say is that OP, I see your budget is getting stretched, but if you can possibly squeeze out an extra $25 to get from the 1500X to the 1600, it would absolutely be worthwhile. With a relatively entry-level gaming GPU in the 1050ti it's not going to make any difference whatsoever. But it seems like you're someone who likes to upgrade over time. The 1600 with its two extra cores, four extra threads, it's going to hold up much better over time. So when you want to upgrade your...

^^That build is very bad, using a almost 7 year old CPU, paired with single-channel RAM.
This CPU is basically an underclocked i7, performs a bit worse(~15%) than an i7, but it's half the price of the i7.
Dual-channel fast RAM, because Ryzen needs it.
250GB SSD, which is about 15% faster than the Kingston UV400.
PSU is the best budget PSU.

1050Ti goes from your previous build.

ryzen 5 1500x will not provide cpu cooler fan u should add cooler fan and u should choose a Cabinet for that pc to fix and it should have enough space for air flowing and if he buy 250 gb ssd . so around ur pc rate include all this things. it will $600+. Ryanm's budget is aroung 500$ only

So when you want to upgrade your GPU in a two years or so, that 1600 is going to be much more potent, considering the tiny $25 difference, it is worth it if you can manage it.

I'm helping a friend with putting together a budget gaming PC and wondering if this build would suit his needs. His initial reason for wanting one was to play Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, on high/ultra settings with no issues. Also, if this build is indeed suitable, which GPU do you recommend? The build didn't include one, presumably because the OP already has a GTX 1050.
