I'm looking to get a new modular power supply and I don't know which brands or models are good along with how much Watts I need. Id like to have this one for a long time (at least 4-5 years like my old one maybe even more).

My old power supply broke/ doesn't supply the amount that it should, under load, turning my pc off when opening some games, like Overwatch. This may have been a result of my old Graphics card dying (or vice versa). I had the corsair HX750 80 gold certified for 4-5 years and it did me well rip my friend.

My Specs are:

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64
CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K
RAM: 2x4GB DDR3 800MHz
MOBO: Gigabyte z87x UD3H
GPU: GeForce GTX 1070 AMP! Edition
HDD: 2TB WD Black drive
Fans: 3x120mm fans and a 200mm fan (looking to get water cooling in the future)
Dual monitors: 32" (shitty old tv kinda thing) and an 18" monitor ( i'm aware that is scuffed af :p)
(saving to get 2x24" 122Hz monitors though :) )
CASE: Coolermaster Storm stryker
minus this buddy :(
PSU: Corsair HX750 Watt 80 Gold certified

Doing a power supply calculator recommended PSU Wattage: 403 W

I'm still looking to upgrade most of my pc as it is 4-5 years old now so this is kind of the beginning. Any and all help is greatly appreciated TY~!

Solution
Your power draw is somewhere around the 350w to 400w region going by the components. Assuming that none of your components are overclocked and still keeping some headroom, any quality 450w to 550w unit should be good enough. The Corsair Hx is a low tier unit and you are lucky to run it for 4-5yrs.
Again you have not mentioned any budget so, the below options are all quality units and listed in ascending order in terms of price. Whatever your budget and location is, you should choose from the below units at your location.

hey, thanks buddy
I completely forgot to put that I am not overclocking, and the price range would've also been a nice addition as well! I'll take a look into these!

a good 650w will be fine. myself i put back the 750w units. it will be overkill but running a larger power supply then needed will keep the unit running silent and cool. look to buy one of the newer digital power supplys. with the newer hardware they can tell/show the end user if there issues of caps or rails going bad.

All of the above solutions are good, however there are a fair few good power supply tier lists that are good to give you a rough idea of how good a power supply is. Here is my favourite one:

Hope this helps!

yeah, im thinking that getting a bit more like 650W would be a good idea as I intend to upgrade everything other than the gpu (which to be fair will probably use the most power or close to it) so i wont need too much extra power but just to be safe and its always better to spend a bit more to be safe with that :p the 750W I had was always good to me so i can see where youre coming from! kinda hard to think of "upgrading" my power supply by getting something that is maybe lesser or not as good
