Corsair vengeance lpx 16gb ddr4 3200mhz not working on b350 tomahawk

I currently have amd ryzen 5 1600 with b350 tomahawk bios updated to the latest version. But i am having trouble with my corsair vengeance ddr4 16gb lpx 3200mhz ram not running at 3200mhz. What settings are you guys using? Can someone with this setup help me please?

3200mhz is very difficult to reach at the moment, only a handful of boards will do it, this should all be fixed very soon with an update from AMD in a week or 2, for now see if you can get it to run at 2933mhz.

try to overclock max ram speed support on motherboard or if it doesnt allow more than that current speed that you have now It means that your motherboard doesnt support 3200 mhz, but dont worry If your speed is even at 2600mhz it wont make big difference in fps.

I got the same setup, only 2667 runs stable for now with settings in below pictures. Have booted few times with 3000 with 1.3 bios but it was unstable and settings was like 18-20-20-36 if i remember well. Need to wait for new BIOS with agesa1006 to reach 3200 (maybe).

so even if i have a corsair vengance lpx 3200 this not ensure me to run 3200 in a tomahawk b350, even if msi qlv says that it could, or you're using a vengance led?

it's non led rams, looks like this, there are also blue,white and red radiator variants.

thats very rare, at least it has to run at 2933, maybe your sticks are rare o bad ones.

I doubt system would be running at all if sticks were bad. It is how it is. Maybe next bios update will have better results.

After lurking in thousands of posts over the years, your question here finally got me to create a damn account. How about that.

Same MSI B350 Tomahawk, same Corsair LPX 3200 2x8GB ram sticks here. Here are the best timings I've found so far, though I'm still finding 3200 elusive. These timings are surprisingly tight, though, which makes me feel better about not hitting 3200.

2666 @ 14-14-14-14-32, 1.36v
2933 @ 14-16-16-16-32, 1.37v

5 timings are listed because the MSI Click BIOS 5 separates tRCD into Read and Write components, unlike the Corsair labels, which just say 16-18-18-36. And note the 1.37v on the 2933 speed, just to make sure it runs stable. Let me know if one of these works for you.

2933 @ 14-16-16-16-32, 1.37v -booted 1 time successfully to windows and was able to run some benchmarks, but after PC restart it refused start under these settings and kept doing boot loops till default settings was resetted. So, it's unstable. Maybe even more voltage would help but I am not fancy enough to go that route.
