Hi everyone! I recently bought a 16 gb Intel Optane Memory module because I was curious if it would benefit the speed of my HDDs, and for $48.57 it would be a nice upgrade. The problem is, I installed the memory module in my M.2_1 slot and installed the Optane Memory software. I initially got the BSOD after this but after changing the BIOS settings I managed to make it work, but after installing, the program said that my system disk is incompatible with Intel Optane memory. I'm already running Windows 10 on an M.2 NVMe SSD installed in my M.2_2 slot. I know it won't benefit the SSD anymore, but I was hoping I could install this so I could speed up the read/write speeds of my HDDs. I tried searching the net for compatibility issues with the Optane memory module and the NVMe SSDs but couldn't find an answer. Any insight would be of great help. Thanks!
My current setup:
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME Z270-A
RAM: G-SKill Ripjaws 16GB (2x8)
Processor: Intel Core i5-7500
SSD: ADATA M.2 SSD 256GB
HDDs: 2x2 TB WD HDDs
