Quietest storage option?

Hi,
I'm really sensitive to ambient computer noise. So am looking for the quietest HDD with large capacity.
I've been looking into quiet drives and from what i've read the: WD Red and Green are best.
The Green 2tb being quietest and the 3tb Red coming in second.

Is this the case - or are there any quieter HDDs?
I'm thinking of going with the WD Red 3tb .

if you are sensaative to noise, you need to get a ssd.
you wont hear a difference in noise between hdd 1 or 2.

wd red are very solid hdds.

SSD's are and will remain noiseless. Hdds can increase in volume when they age.

Thanks, but i need a fairly large hard drive and currently 1tb SSDs are very expensive.

Would you recommend the WD Red from an acoustics point of view?

Would a NAS be acceptable? through the network you could put the drives anywhere you cannot hear them, closet down the hall...
the reds are quiet- look into silicon grommets to further reduce vibration to the chassis.

Cheers, I'm currently trying to fit everything in the one box and make it quiet. Failing that i may follow your advise about getting the noisy parts locked away in cupboards.
Think i'll get a WD RED and use a premade hdd decoupler: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sharkoon-Hdd-Vibe-Fixer-Enclosure-Decoupling-Drives/dp/B000FLR8PE to reduce vibrations.
