Completing my first build and all I am getting is pretty lights and no POST.

Once I turned it on, leds on the cpu fan, ram, GPU, and mobo are up, and all case fans and cpu fans are running.

None of the ez debug leds are on when I only have 1 ram put in. When I put in the 2nd one the Boot led turns on. The only ez debug led that has lit up for me is the boot, havent had issues with DRAM, CPU and VGA.

I've gone through the troubleshooting guide. Some notes:

  • I've connected the cpu power connector with the 4+4 pin for the cpu power cable, the other side is an 8 pin which I've connected to the psu

    Standoffs are preinstalled

Video card is seated and the PCIe slot status led is on red so its running on 16x.

Have tried with 1 stick but it didn't change anything, LEDs for the slots are on

I have reinstalled the CPU and the cooler (with appropriate amount of thermal paste so no spills) after it didnt work the first time. No bent pins or any issues during the reinstall.

CPU fan running and connected the the cpu fan slot on the mobo.

Not sure if I shorted anything with static discharge but I assume thats rare. Never had the power cable plugged in when im working on it.

I dont think theres a system speaker and I dont have one currently.

Have checked and reinstalled front panel plugs, there is no reset switch as far as I can see for my case.

I have tried shorting the CMOS, I didnt have a jumper so I just shorted it with a screwdriver.

Unfortunately I don't have spare parts around so that I can switch it out and test the parts. Would appreciate any guidance.

Solution
Try your graphics card in the 2dn PCI-e x16 slot, and also, try with 1 stick of ram in slot A2, this slot must be used, not optional on this board, I have the same board.

Also, the board ships with a speaker, is it plugged in ?
